UPnP / NAT-PMP is a feature that allows for the automatic discovery of UPnP / NAT-PMP devices on your network in order to share and access shared data from devices on your network. UPnP / NAT-PMP also allows your router to identify application requests from UPnP / NAT-PMP devices on your network and automatically allow the required connections to and from the Internet for the specified application without having to configure your router.
